KidsFest

Now in its fourth year, KidsFest continues in the Council Rock High School-North gymnasium. Kids of all ages are invited to bring their parents and grandparents to this fun-filled activity venue. Open from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Cool Beans (Showtimes: 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.)
KidsFest welcomes children's music band Steve Pullara and His Cool Beans Band, a family favorite and frequent performer at First Night Newtown. Steve's concerts and programs are very popular and booked for festivals, schools, museums, libraries and corporate settings. Each show lasts 45 minutes.

Inflatables
Got some rambunctious little ones? Bring them over to the gymnasium to play in our inflatable moon bounces. (Please note that the inflatable area will begin closing at 8:45 p.m.)

Crafting Corner
Stop by the Crafting Corner and make your own winter-themed crafts and decorate your very own cellophane hat to wear in the procession. This year’s craft stations include:

  • More Cellophane Hats and Masks – ready to decorate with all your favorite fixins! We’ll have more than ever this year!
  • Bookmarks – celebrate this year’s reading theme by making your own keepsake bookmarks.
  • And more!

No Food or Drink
Please refrain from bringing food and drink in the gym.

Stroller/Wheelchair Ramp Available
When you’re walking toward the gym from the cafeteria, the ramp for strollers and wheelchairs is located in the stairwell off to the right. Look for signs.

Volunteers Needed
We need responsible teens and adults to help supervise the crafting activities and make sure everyone is having fun! If you can volunteer at the crafting stations for a minimum of two hours, please contact Marlowe Gordon, marne136gordon@gmail.com. We especially need help with clean up starting at 9 p.m. Teens: Bring your paperwork for LINCS credits! All teen and adult volunteers will receive one free adult pass to enjoy First Night! (Volunteers must pay general admission for their children and non-volunteering spouses.)

Disclaimer
While we want everyone to relax, have fun and be safe, please be aware that First Night staff, volunteers and our vendors will not directly supervise your children. Participation in all First Night activities are at your own risk.
